Astronomy Merit Badge
We will be going to the Discovery Center Museum on Saturday, November 4
th. They will be working with you on the Astronomy Merit Badge. The requirements usually take four weeks to finish. At the Discovery center it will take about four hours because of the planetarium. You can see all of the requirements at http://www.meritbadge.com/mb/022.htm. You must pre-register for this merit badge by Tuesday, October 10th, this means having a signed merit badge card too.-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Describe the proper clothing and other precautions for safely making observations at night and in cold weather. Tell how to safely observe the Sun, objects near the Sun, and the Moon.
